La Virginia is a unique urbanization built in the 70's with the idea of becoming a haven of calm and tranquility set just above the lively center of Marbella.
It is a magical and intimate place where each square & alley exudes the feeling of the most idyllic Andalusian town.
The complex was designed by the Spanish architect Juan Manuel Figueras and consists of 60 unique homes as well as 2 restaurants (La Tienda & La Virginia) and its own chapel forming an eclectic and bohemian community which also organizes an artisan market & festival each spring showcasing to the wider public the unique character of this beautiful spot.
In the night time the security barriers are lowered so that the interior of the complex only becomes available to pedestrians.

The property itself is situated in a commanding position, centrally on one of the bigger squares, the Plaza Alameda de la Alcaldesa and constructed over 2 floors.
At the front of the property is a terraced area surrounded by mature garden and offering views to Marbella's iconic La Concha mountain.
The original wooden front door opens up to an entrance hall full of character with a staircase and a beautifully patterned detail terracotta floor.
There are two storage spaces off the entrance hall as well as a guest bathroom with shower. Also a bedroom or office with views to La Concha.
Further on we enter the lounge with feature fireplace and the dining room. The entire living room area has access to a cozy South facing back terrace surrounded by green.

From the dining room we pass by a bodega into the kitchen which has its own practical entrance from the front of the house.
Upstairs we have the spacious master bedroom with a fireplace, French balconies and an en-suite bathroom with hand-painted tiles from Seville and a dressing.
There are 2 more guest bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and French balconies with La Concha views. A last bedroom, also with en-suite bathroom has a South facing terrace with staircase to the rooftop terrace from which we have views to La Concha in the North and some sea views to the South.
